Refund and Cancellations Policy
Welcome to Cake Glory’s Refund and Cancellations Policy (the “Policy”).
At Cake Glory, every cake is made with precision, passion, and fresh ingredients. This Policy outlines your rights regarding order cancellations, refunds, and complaint procedures when placing an order with us.
1. Cancelling Your Order Before Delivery
All our products are made-to-order and perishable. Therefore, cancellations impact our operations and partners. If you need to cancel your order, please review the following terms:
a) Cancellation 5 or more days before delivery
– Cancel five (5) or more days before your scheduled delivery date, and we’ll issue a full refund, minus £4 administrative fee, and any reasonable costs incurred by us up to that point (e.g., ingredients or decorations sourced)
b) Cancellation within 5 days of delivery
– Cancel within five (5) days of your delivery date and you will not be eligible for a cash refund. In exceptional situations (event cancellation, emergencies), we may issue a store credit (not cash), minus a £4 administrative fee, and reasonable preparation costs, including loss of opportunity from turning away other orders.
2. If Cake Glory Cancels Your Order
In the unlikely event we must cancel your order (e.g., due to operational constraints or unavailable ingredients), we will:
– Notify you as early as possible, and
– Provide a full refund of any amount paid.
We will not be liable for any indirect losses beyond the order amount.
3. After Delivery – Complaints & Refunds
Once your order is delivered, your contract with us is considered complete. As our products are perishable and custom-made, returns are not accepted, and automatic refunds are not applicable.
However, we care deeply about your experience. If you’re unhappy, please:
– Contact us at payments.cakeglory@gmail.com within 24 hours of delivery.
– Complaints received after 72 hours of delivery will not be considered.
If your concern involves:
– Taste, texture, or a hygiene-related issue:
• Preserve the product in its original state.
• Allow us the opportunity to inspect or collect the item.
• We cannot process any complaints without evidence for inspection.
Based on our review, we may offer:
– A partial refund
– A full refund
– A discount on a future order
All refund decisions are made at our sole discretion with fairness and customer satisfaction in mind.
